This course prepares leaders in OT or with OT accountabilities, to understand the basics of OT cyber security risk and be able to take proactive measures to reduce that risk in their OT environments. By attending this course, you will gather fundamental knowledge that will help you to lead teams to identify and, where possible, reduce cyber security risk in your OT environments that will allow the continuity of operations in a safe and reliable way.

OT security is an ever-evolving field and this course has been regularly updated since it’s first running back in 2013 when it launched as the ICS Managers Security Fundamentals. Due to the rapid pace of change, a Leader needs to continually keep their finger on the pulse so that the challenges are met by a capable and skilled workforce who can rely on strong and effective Leadership and direction.

What You Will Learn

Authors Statement

“As the world of OT becomes increasingly converged with other business areas, combined with the vastly increased use of digital technology, the business Leaders in these areas have to train and equip themselves with the Knowledge and Skills to perform their critical roles in the protection of the business and, by default, the National Critical Infrastructure.

This course has developed over the last decade to become an NCSC Assured training course which will empower Leaders in the OT arena, whether existing or moving upwards on promotion as well as those who are in other business units who may be inheriting OT accountabilities. This will allow them to face the challenge head on and protect what we all need be it power, clean water, transportation
and a myriad of other OT areas.”
