We’re pleased to welcome Matthew Smith, Business Development Director of TEKGEM, who will be joining us at this year’s FDC Conference in Cairo, Egypt. To offer insight into TEKGEM, we asked Matthew a few questions to share his story with the wider community before the event.
Can you tell me about yourself and what your company does?
I’m the Business Development Director at Tekgem, a UK-based Industrial Cyber Security Company that provides expert industrial cyber security services on a global basis. Our tried and tested consultancy & engineering helps our customers to manage their critical infrastructure safely and securely.
At Tekgem, we ensure our customers have complete reassurance by transforming their systems, networks and cyber security with world class innovative solutions that solve their problems. What are you looking forward to at FDC?
I’m excited to connect with like minded individuals and industry experts to discuss emerging Cyber Security threats across Critical National Infrastructure and best practices on how to mitigate them. FDC provides a great opportunity to tackle challenges on a global basis to help shape the future of technology that ensures Critical National Infrastructure remain secure.
Is there something about the Egyptian culture that interests you?
The blend of ancient wonders and contemporary dynamics that Egyptian culture provides interests me, alongside the countries ambition to embrace new technologies and initiatives the help drive the country forward. Alongside this I’m naturally looking forward to learning more about the rich history that the nation has as well as sampling the local cuisine.
We would like to thank Matthew and TEKGEM for their time and are looking forward to attending FDC with them.
