Office Companions

Behind every great team, are their fluffy friends. Always there for emotional support, keeping your feet warm and companionship.
Their important role in business is crucial to effective operations with Siker Cyber, and throughout the increasing home based working environment. Whether it’s lying asleep at your feet, someone to talk too, a companion to pet or getting up to mischief, they all make our day easier.

Ferne

Meet Ferne, Springer Spaniel and beloved 'owner' of Administrator Anne Wheatley. When not sleeping and eating. Ferne puts all her energy into 'search and retrieve', swimming and running through the forests with her human mom. If Ferne could have one wish, it would be for an unlimited supply of liver cake. If she could have more than one wish, it would be world peace and to have her own tennis ball factory.

Ruadh

Ruadh is part of a duo and lives with her younger brother Astar. They are pair of very energetic Border Collies. Both can usually be found at the feet of Tony Reid. Ruadh (Gaelic for 'Red') is a 7 year old red and white Border Collie who joined the clan as a rescue. She had many issues, however, is now a happy and super loving dog that expects everyone to adore her. She is a bit of a social butterfly, mainly for humans, as they have more potential for snacks. They love long walks, favourites being woodland and beaches, and would walk forever. In an effort to burn off their boundless energy, both regularly train for Flyball competitions. Both have competed at the British National Flyball Championships and been on the winner podium each time. They also live with two cats, Seb and Theo.

Astar

Astar (Gaelic for 'Speed') is the younger half, 3 years old, of a collie duo, with his sister Ruadh. Both are very energetic Border Collies who are never apart. Both can usually be found at the feet of Tony Reid. He is your typical black and white Collie in appearance and temperament. A hyper younger boy, who is ball obsessed. Astar is always moving at speed and never slows. They love long walks, favourites being woodland and beaches, and would walk forever. In an effort to burn off their boundless energy, both regularly train for Flyball competitions. Both have competed at the British National Flyball Championships and been on the winner podium each time. They also live with two cats, Seb and Theo.

Monty

Monty is a Sprocker Spaniel, friend and furry brother to GRC Analyst Rhys Parsons. He spends most of his time atop the sofa staring out the window for the errant bird or post carrier to cross his path, the rest is either trying to involve himself in everything you’re doing regardless of being actually helpful but seeing the smile always upon his face always brightens the day.

Loki

Loki and Maui are F1b Cockerpoos who 'own' our Global Assessments Lead Stuart Harwood. Loki is a bit of a ball connoisseur and if there are any red tennis balls around are liable to be pinched! Maui likes to sleep and yawn a lot but loves his biscuits and treato’s more than his humans sometimes. They like to be involved with office security and you can sometimes see them in the 'woofing' room guarding against cats and pigeons, whilst allowing other humans up the driveway. The boy’s best friend is Ferne, who is another office companion, go check her out!

Maui

Seb

Seb, short for Sebastian, is the pet daddy of the household. Nobody messes with the Seb. Being a cat, all other life forms are below him anyway. The dogs, Ruadh and Astar give him and his jaggy claws a wide berth. He is usually found sleeping on beds, however, on occasions he likes to walk next to the dogs just to see the panic in their faces. Visits to and over computer keys boards indicate food and/or love is required. A totally different cat from his brother Theo. He is your archetypal ginger tom.

Theo

Meet Theo, or to give him his full title Theodore. He's the youngest of 5 pets within the household (2 dogs, 2 cats and a snake). Although a cat, he thinks he's a dog at times, and can be regularly found either sleeping with the dogs or outside playing with them in the back garden. He has been known to appear on dog walks. That said the sofa is his domain, especially when the log burner is on.
